Full redesign of this West End cottage was challenging due to strict council restrictions but by excavating the architects (Placemate Architects) were able to create the additional rooms that the owner wanted for their forever home completely transforming this family cottage. A retro favourite just south of Perth's CBD, Como Hotel has been revamped and brought to life with a multi-million dollar refurbishment taking this classic heritage pub into a new era with contemporary style. The Art Deco heritage is enhanced with contemporary style to create a beautiful fusion of old and new.

Cayas Architects provided Architecture and Interior Design services for the refurbishment of Mooloolaba’s iconic Wharf Tavern into the latest James Squire branded pub venue - The Savvy Squire. This incredibly popular new Sunshine Coast venue features two bars, a restaurant, beer hall, sports bar, function rooms and beer garden. All with a fabulous view over the Mooloolaba boat harbour. The colour and textural palette of the Squires brand form the basis of the design, with locally specific variants shining through such as the use of rope, brass and nautical light features to connect the venue with its surrounds.
This modern architectural design home is located in Paddington, Brisbane. This property was so much fun to shoot field with light and amazing design features.

Cayas Architects were the lead consultant on this refurbishment of the Surfers Paradise Beer Garden on the Gold Coast. With this renovation they returned this venue to its former glory creating a relaxed welcoming vibe with lush landscaping, decking throughout and retractable roofs.

This rammed earth house is a precedent of beautiful sustainable design. Perched upon a hill with long distance views, it embodies passive climate principles and features completely off-the-grid solar power and water. All materials are sustainably sourced and aim to close to zero maintenance. This property was designed by Project Habitation Architects.
This property owned by Andrew Winter {Selling Houses Australia) was renovated in 2018. I was lucky enough to do a shoot for Andrew to capture the new modern feel of the house. Here are some of the images.
Cosentino Group is a family-owned company that produces and distributes design surfaces. This particular project show the bar and wall surfaces design for the Palace Supper Club in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, Australia.
